Have you been experiencing low system performance on your system (Laptop, or desktop), and you have been looking for how to rid of it? This post is for you. Sometimes it is very frustrating when working with your laptop or desktop, suddenly it hangs, or even restarts. This can be so frustrating.
In this post, I will show how to get rid of your system-hanging. Sometimes your system RAM can also contribute to your system being slow or hanging. It is advisable you upgrade your system RAM to higher (Note: Every system has a RAM limit it can carry) or have much software on your system.
It is advisable you check your installed software and uninstall the unnecessary software you don't need.
To speed up your system x2, follow the steps below.
Step 1. On your system keyboard, press the Windows logo + R to get the run box. See the image below.
Step 2. Inside the run box, type this code: msconfig and hit the enter key or click on "OK". A pop-up will show. See the image below
Step 3. On this diagram, click the Boot option. See the image below
Step 4. Under the Boot option, click on "Advanced options". See the image below.
Step 5. A pop-up will show when you click on the Advanced options, check the box before "Number of processors". Choose the highest number on the dropdown box under the Number of processors and click on "OK". See the image below.
Step 6. Click on "Apply" and OK" to save your new settings. See the image below
Step 7. You will be prompted to restart your System after you on Apply and OK. Click on Restart to restart your system to permanently save your new settings. See the image below.
